Funginil

These Funginil is a new Generation Organic fungicide for Downy Mildew. Mode of action: • Rapid penetration into plant tissue (3 hours or less) • Locally systemic* movement within the plant • Translaminar movement across leaves • Relatively short residual nature inside plant tissue • Multiple site activity on disease
* Locally systemic infers the product moves from the point of entry into the plant in an upward and outward direction for a short distance. For instance, if the point of entry is the middle of the leaf, movement will be to the outer edge of the leaf and no further.
Targeted Disease: Funginil was first commercialized for use on grape downy mildew. It is highly active on and specific to one particular group of fungi, the Oomycetes (water molds). Major crop diseases in this group are grape down mildew, potato and tomato late blight, pythium rots and more. There has never been a case of disease resistence development because of the unique multi-site action of Funginil.
Funginil provides excellent control of certain Pernosporales pathogens. Its curative action stops the development of the pathogen during incubation. Its locally systemic action supplements the effectiveness of companion fungicides, especially during periods of intensive disease pressure. Control is provided against pathogens which incite serious diseases such as late blight of Potatoes and Tomatoes (phytophthora infestans) and downy mildew (plasmopara viticola) of Grapes.
