Description
We are one of the leading manufacturers of Hot Brands, Gujofix 'H' Dyes also known as FT dyes. These have low substantivity & reactivity due to which, these are widely used in a variety of printing and dyeing applications. Due to low reactivity or fixation with cellulosic material, these monochlorotriazine reactive dyes require more severe conditions. These can be readily applied by dyeing & printing methods on cellulosic material and the powder is easily soluble by pouring 80-85°C water and stirring it well.
Following are the key features:
- For optimum Fixation with urea, 'H' brand dyes require high thermo-fixation temperature or long steaming time in comparison to cold brand dyes
- H dyes that have substantivity low to medium and the reactivity ranging from medium to high are most suitable
- In dyeing prior to fixation, there may occur migration problems in case of dyes with very low substantivity
- Tailing becomes evident on using highly substantive dyes of low concentration
- By using padding troughs that are small and fed to constant level along with selecting low or medium substantivity dyes tailing can be avoided to an extent
- Further, it can be avoided by performing operation at the highest running speed, which further corresponds to the requirements of the rest of the process
Following are the dyeing methods we use:
-
Exhaust dyeing method : (Jigger Machines)
Following steps are to be performed to dye using Jigger Machines:
- Set the dye-bath with required amount of water at 40°C
- Add 1-2 g/l resist salt in half the amount of dyestuff solution
- Run for I turn and add the remaining half amount of dyestuff solution
- Run for another turn
- Then add half of the salt and start raising the temperature slowly (Such that 65 to 85°C temperature could be attained after two turns)
- Run for I turn and then add the remaining half of the salt and give it another turn
- Now add half the amount of pre-dissolved alkali and give one turn
- Temperature is maintained at 80°C
- Add remaining half amt. of alkali and give another three turn
- For better fixation, give two more turns and then drain the Jigger
